Background

The City of Ellensburg is updating its comprehensive plan — the 20-year roadmap for land use, parks, and infrastructure decisions. Public meetings are currently underway. Comprehensive plans determine what gets prioritized, and funded, over the next two decades. If mountain biking, pump tracks, and trail connectivity aren't explicitly written into the plan now, it becomes much harder to build support and funding for them later. Evergreen's Kittitas chapter is asking riders to show up and speak up.
