Fund the DNR Trust Land Transfer Program.
Washington DNR's Trust Land Transfer (TLT) program is one of the most effective tools for protecting recreational access on state trust lands. Ask your WA legislators to fund TLT and support DNR's 2026 recreational access priorities.
What's at Stake
Without adequate TLT funding, state trust lands that support trails and recreation can be sold for timber or development. The TLT program allows DNR to transfer high-recreation-value lands to permanent public ownership — but only when the legislature funds it.

Hi, my name is [Your Name], calling from [Your City]. I'm calling to ask [Official Name] to fund Washington DNR's Trust Land Transfer program in the 2026 budget. The TLT program protects trail access by permanently converting high-recreation-value state lands out of the timber trust. It's one of the most direct investments the legislature can make for outdoor recreation in Washington. Please support TLT funding this session. Thank you!
