What would you do with 48,000 acres of forestland?

Thatโ€™s what The Nature Conservancy is considering as they decide how to manage the land theyโ€™ve just purchased from Plum Creek Timber Company. With such an opportunity for recreation and conservation, theyโ€™d like to know how you would enjoy this land.

And as mountain bikers, we could enjoy it a lot. And you may not know that some of us already do.

Rosalyn Ridge - which includes part of Rat Pac - is part of this acquisition, and this is a great opportunity to point out the fun of riding this region. If youโ€™d like to see connecting trails to the Teanaway Community Forest, and more riding around Rosalyn, let TNC know.

So take a moment and fill out the questionnaire. Tell TNC how great this area could be for low-impact recreation and the economic benefit that it would bring to Rosalyn and Cle Elum. And if you havenโ€™t had a chanceโ€”hop on your bike and see how great Rosalyn Ridge really is!
