Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance is two organizations working as one. We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on advocacy, education, and volunteer stewardship — and we're a licensed, bonded Washington general contractor held to the same permitting, insurance, and safety standards as any commercial builder. Together, the impact is greater than the sum of our parts.

Evergreen's trail work is guided by 30+ dedicated trail staff — a team credentialed as a licensed Washington general contractor (#EVERGMB837P4), carrying $5,000,000 in liability coverage, and fluent in NEPA/SEPA permitting. Our safety record (.6463 xMod/EMR) runs well ahead of industry average.

This same professional crew directs contracted work for cities, parks departments, land trusts, and private landowners (like Snoqualmie Bike Park) — from feasibility study to long-term stewardship.

Every year, Trail Volunteers — mountain bikers just like you — donate over 29,000 hours of hands-on labor across all ten chapters. Trails don't maintain themselves, and without this volunteer force, Washington's singletrack would slowly erode into overgrown brush and washed-out ruts. No experience is required to start; every volunteer work party has a crew lead ready to teach you on the spot.

If you ride Washington trails, you've got sweat equity in them. Every berm, root feature, and switchback you love was built — and is kept rideable — by volunteers who showed up. Put in your hours at a volunteer work party, and you're not just helping out: you're paying forward the trails you ride every weekend.
